Tell Obama to Sign the Keystone Pipeline

President Obama refuses to sign the Keystone Pipeline.

The Keystone pipeline will create thousands of new jobs for Texans but President Obama refused to sign the bill because California environmentalists in Congress think they know what is best for the country and for Texans.

The Keystone President Obama keeps blocking is a “pipeline, a Canada-based project to deliver up to 830,000 barrels of oil per day to Gulf Coast refineries.”  According to Nick Loris, an economist who focuses on energy, environmental and regulatory issues as the Herbert and Joyce Morgan fellow at The Heritage Foundation, the Keystone Pipeline “would pose no significant environmental risk and would not contribute substantially to carbon dioxide emissions.”

Even some environmentalists do not want to waste time fighting the Pipeline because “the Environmental Protection Agency estimates that those from Keystone amount to a mere 0.2 percent of the “carbon budget”  that scientists say we need to shrink in order to avoid catastrophic warming.”

More important is the impact on jobs.  Although there will not be many permanent jobs, the tens of thousands of jobs created to build the pipeline will help boost the economy.  “In fact, simply building the southern portion—which didn’t need the President’s approval—has already created 4,000 construction jobs.”
Changes need to be made. We need to stop Obama and his extreme environmentalists’ agenda from California. Texans need to hold our elected officials accountable.

There are only four weeks left before the Texas primary yet Sen. Cornyn has refused to debate the other candidates running for the U.S. Senate. He apparently does not want to be held accountable for his actions.

We must change the course; we need to vote out those who have voted to grow the government, increase the National Debt, and give more power to the NSA.

Make a difference by voting and telling your friends to Vote on March 4.
